Cantiamo Leidschendam was founded in 1989 with the goal of performing as wide a repertoire of unaccompanied music as possible. The company of 25, under the musical direction of Grigori Sarolea, sings everything from spirituals to Mozart, from Renaissance to barbershop. For this website, street songs have been added to their varied repertoire.

Cantiamo Leidschendam performs in diverse locations: from bars to churches. The choir also organises the so-called Cantiamo Singing Café two or three times a year: unforced group singing with anyone who feels like joining in.
