The recordings for the Top 30 were made on 17 and 18 November and 2 and 3 December in theatre De Tobbe in Voorburg, and on 10 December in studio The Van in Spakenburg.

A selection of songs from the Top 30 has been recorded on the CD 'De kist van Pierlala' ('Pierlala's treasure chest'), released by Globe Records in Amsterdam and available in Dutch music stores.
