Collection Jordaan
A collection of the Atlas van Stolk
Leo Jordaan (1885-1980) has been active as a political cartoonist for more than fifty years. His work appeared in Het Leven, De Notenkraker, De Groene (Amsterdammer), Vrij Nederland and Het Parool. After his death, his collection of around 2,300 drawings went to the Atlas Van Stolk. His album Nightmare about the Netherlands gives a penetrating picture of the German occupation and is a top piece in the collection.
