De Melkweg and Paradiso posters > The designers of De Melkweg
If Martin Kaye had the most significant influence on the Paradiso image, then the same can be said of Henk Langeveld (1949-2010) with respect to De Melkweg in the years 1975 - 1985. As opposed to Kaye, Langeveld did sign his posters, often using the pseudonym Campi or Campesino. The first designer to work for De Melkweg was Mick Flaum, who was responsible for professionalizing silk-screen printing, later carried on by Henk Langeveld. Other designers from the early years were Ingrid Berkhout and Marijke Breuers, while Donald Beekman started to work on a regular basis for De Melkweg in 1985.
