The collection of caricatures consists of three general categories:

• Caricatures by artist and illustrator Herman Focke.
• Caricatures from the archives of Dr. W.H. Nolens, Esq.
• The near-complete series of Roman Catholic humorous magazine De Roskam.

A number of prints from the Political Week have also been included, from the period 1907-1909. These first appeared as supplements to newspapers De Tijd, Morgenpost and De Amstelbode.
