In August 1916, J.H. Leopold's edition Cheops was published by De Zilverdistel, the first Dutch private press. This long poem about pharaoh Cheops was printed by J.F. van Royen in an edition of 70 copies. The text is set from the Zilvertype, specially designed for this printer/publisher by the type designer S.H. de Roos, who also designed the initials.
