- Allegorie op de tirannie van de hertog van Alva in de Nederlanden, ca. 1569. Links Alva op zijn troon in een paleis, bijgestaan door Granvelle (met blaasbalg) en leden van de Bloedraad, hij wordt door de duivel gekroond. Voor hem knielen geketend de 17 personificaties van de provincies van de Nederlanden, rechts de verstomde leden van de Staten-Generaal. Een venster in het midden geeft zicht op Margaretha van Parma die vist naar rijkdommen in een bloedvijver, daarachter de onthoofding van Egmond en Horne te Brussel in 1568. Links en rechts scènes van martelingen en executies. In het onderschrift een vers van 4 kolommen van elk 4 regels en de legenda A-O in het Nederlands.
