- Het zwarte Chantilly kant is altijd van zijde gemaakt. Het werd, behalve in Chantilly (Frankrijk, departement Oise) ook in België nagemaakt, zodat ook hier de herkomst van blad en montuur moeilijk te achterhalen is. Het blad heeft een randornamentering en in een centraal cartouche is een bloemboeket weergegeven. Links en rechts een symmetrisch patroon van plantmotieven en verspreid over het blad zijn takken afgebeeld.
