- Babyjakje van Indiase sits, gevoerd met linnen. De sits is omstreeks 1750 in India geschilderd. Het jakje heeft een model van omstreeks 1775. In de collectie van het Nederlands Openluchtmuseum zijn vrij veel babyjakjes voor zeer kleine kinderen aanwezig. Ze zijn bijna allemaal van kostbare materialen en waarschijnlijk gebruikt als toon- en/of doopkleding. Ze geven een indruk van de kostbare materialen en de aandacht die in rijke families aan deze kinderkleding werd besteed. De babykleding in de minder rijke families is op gedragen.
