The murder scene of the cabaret artist and former Het Leven journalist Jean-Louis Pisuisse and his wife Jenny Gilliams (indicated by the cross) at Rembrandt Square in Amsterdam in 1927. Using dotted lines and crosses the editorial team of Het Leven often re-enacted events that had not been photographed. Indicated here are the walking route of Pisuisse and his wife and the spots from where murderer Tjakko Kuiper, an ex of Jenny Gilliams, fired his pistol several times and then took his own life. It should be noted that in reports on crimes both the victims and offenders were depicted with their full names.
