The drainage mill in the Open Air Museum, Arnhem (Gelderland)
Several mills stand on the grounds of the Open Air Museum in Arnhem. The drainage mill on view here comes from the neighborhood of Noordlaren (Groningen). It served to drain the East Polder, became redundant as such in 1939 and was transferred to Arnhem in 1958. In the background, one sees the post-mill Het Spinnenwiel.
