- Deze pop hoort tot de eerste objecten die verzameld werden in het in 1912 opgerichte Nederlands Openluchtmuseum. Het museum zou pas 3 jaar na de aankoop van de pop open gaan voor publiek. De pop is gekleed zoals een meisje jonger dan 16 jaar uit Nunspeet er aan het einde van de 19de eeuw uitzag. Tot haar 16de droeg een meisje een zogenaamde nette, een meisjesmuts versierd met een struisveer, daarna droeg zij, net als haar moeder, de tipmuts. Veel kinderkleding uit het einde van de 19de eeuw is er niet overgebleven. Dat maakt deze pop, die een goed beeld geeft, extra waardevol.
