Henri (Hendrik Johannes) ter Hall (1866-1944). Nederlands humorist, revue-artiest, theaterproducent, revue-directeur en politicus. Hij stond bekend als de "Koning van de Revue". Van 1918 tot 1925 lid van de Tweede Kamer. Op de foto draagt hij een pince-nez of knijpbril, een bril zonder pootjes, die op de neus werd vastgeknepen. Geschikt voor zowel mannen als vrouwen en populair van 1870 - 1945. Van Hall draagt de pince-nez variant voor mannen die door middel van een kettinkje met een haakje of clip achter het oor worden bevestigd (pince-nez met verende brug). 1926, plaats onbekend.
