- Vrouwenrok van Indiase sits. De katoen van de rok werd omstreeks 1750 door een Indiase sitsschilder voorzien van een randdessin van veel kleurige grote bloemen. Sits met een dergelijk randdessin werd speciaal voor rokken vervaardigd. De rok is afkomstig uit de nalatenschap van de Zaanse familie Vis. In de Zaanstreek maakten sitsen rokken in de 18de eeuw deel uit van het modekostuum dat samen met de Zaanse hoofdtooi gedragen werd.
