In ‘Hoera! We gaan op reis’, the travelling is done predominantly by train. The images seem to be French in origin. To judge by the modern electric train, the book dates from the 1930s. An aeroplane and a motor with sidecar complete the picture. ‘Factory picture books’ were produced cheaply and in very great numbers, often with advertisements on the back.
