- Messing gebogen oorijzertje. De uiteinden zijn omwoeld met een stukje koperdraad. Het ijzertje is als bodemvondst tevoorschijn gekomen in Amsterdam. Het moet daar tussen ongeveer 1570 en 1600 in onbruik zijn geraakt. Het ijzer is nog puur functioneel, bedoeld om de muts op het hoofd vast te zetten. Deze vorm is de basis voor alle latere oorijzers. Dit type is in heel Nederland gedragen.
