- Deze kroplap wordt in Staphorst (kleine bloemen-) 'broenbonte kraplap' genoemd naar het dessin van de stof. Volgens overlevering werden in de 19de eeuw nachtgrond kraplappen in Staphorst als zondagse kerkdracht gedragen. Ze raakten vervolgens voor dat doel in onbruik. In de 20ste eeuw worden dergelijke kraplappen nog speciaal naar de kerk gedragen wanneer het Heilig Avondmaal word bediend en de nabetrachting en dankzegging over het Avondmaal plaatsvindt. In dit laatste geval dragen alle aanwezige vrouwen en meisjes die uit de rouw zijn, ook degenen die niet aan het Avondmaal deelnemen, nachtgrondkraplappen. Verder wordt de kraplap nog gedragen op de laatste zondag van de rouw. Hij markeert daarmee de overgang naar het dragen van kleding uit de rouw, zoals die de dag erna weer wordt aangetrokken.
