Dodenritueel. Dodencultus bij de Sadang Toradja's in Celebes/Sulawesi Indonesië van de in het buitenland overleden Rante Pao Pong Maranka. De offerfeesten bestaan uit het doden van honderden karbouwen en varkens en er worden hanengevechten gehouden. Foto 1922: na de karbouwen zijn de varkens aan de beurt. Er worden 207 beesten gedood.
