This print shows the meeting of Frederik Hendrik and Maria de Medicis, widow of the French king Hendrik IV, before the city of s-Hertogenbosch after its conquest in 1629. The print is one of a series of 12 prints about the entry of Maria de Medicis in several North-Netherlands cities. The prints were published in London in 1639 in a book by P. de la Serre.
