Description
This map of Dauphine in Southeast France was published in 1638 in a Latin atlas of Johannes Janssonius (1588-1664). Janssonius probable copied the map from Willem Jansz. Blaeu atlas (1571-1638) from 1631. The original author of the map is the French military ingenieur Jean de Beins (1577-1651).
