- De zaagstraat is de plaats in de fabriek waar het plaatmateriaal op maat wordt gezaagd. De machine zorgt ervoor dat de platen goed zijn gepositioneerd. De zaagstraat is geheel geautomatiseerd. Het is lopende bandwerk, waarbij de platen langs verschillende zaagmachines worden gevoerd. Vroeger moesten werknemers dit werk nog handmatig uitvoeren, door de komst van machines zijn er nauwelijks meer mensen nodig. De werknemer van Bruynzeel hoeft alleen maar te controleren of de platen werkelijk goed liggen en slechts in te grijpen als dat niet het geval is. Via een monitor kan hij ook de rest van het productieproces in de gaten houden.
