- Karton met daarop 2 foto's van een pop in het kostuum van een weesmeisje uit het Amsterdamse Maagdenhuis, die op de tentoonstelling Nationale Kleederdrachten van Harer Majesteits onderdanen in 1898 te Amsterdam werd getoond en aantekeningen die verwijzen naar de catalogus. De bijbehorende catalogustekst luidt: "De zilveren knopjes die uit het mutsje te voorschijn komen, waren oudtijds bevestigd aan een smal oorijzertje, dat thans evenwel in onbruik is geraakt. Muts en ijzertje stammen, met die der Burgerweezen, klaarblijkelijk af van een zelfde model, dat eertijds de gewone dracht der Amsterdamsche burgeressen was. In het Maagdenhuis zijn gewoonlijk maar een paar meisjes, die bedreven zijn in de kunst dit mutsje naar behoren te plooien."
