Het Meidenwegloophuis zoekt vrijwilligsters. Het Meidenhuis te Amsterdam werd opgericht in 1981; doel was veiligheid en rust bieden aan meisjes en jonge vrouwen tot vijfentwintig jaar, die mishandeld, misbruikt en in haar vrijheid bedreigd waren De reden voor een huis alleen voor meiden was dat meisjes in gemengde crisiscentra altijd het risico lopen in een typische vrouwenrol te worden gedrukt. In 1991 werd het huis gesloten.
