Monkey from the family vervet or macaco (Cercopithecidea)

Van Lidth de Jeude owned one of the largest stuffed animal collections in the Netherlands. In addition, he had a large collection of prints which formed the basis of Iconographia Zoologica. He had intended to publish a book with lithographs of animals but unfortunately this never happened. Iconographia has a few of his drawings, possibly intended for this book. This is one of them.
