Rapier with an iron hilt wrapped around with copper wire. A rapier is a light thin sword about 120 centimetres in length. It was generally carried by ordinary citizens rather than soldiers. The rapier, a fencing weapon, was used both on land and at sea.

- Afkomstig uit een tjalkachtig vrachtschip vergaan aan het eind van de 18e eeuw op de Zuiderzee, gevonden nabij het huidige Creil op kavel B 6 in de Noordoostpolder.
