- Zeer bijzondere zeshoekige tegel uit het Mamlukse Rijk, gemaakt door van oorsprong uit Iran (Perzië) afkomstige tegelmakers. De decoratie is duidelijk beïnvloed door Chinees porselein, zowel in de keuze voor een blauw-witte decoratie als in de voorstelling zelf, waarin elementen van luipaard, leeuw en draak gecombineerd zijn. Tegelijk zijn islamitische stijlelementen zoals arabesken toegepast. Er is geen tweede tegel met dezelfde decoratie bekend.
