- Description
- The woman at the tambourine-shaped table is Agostina Segatori, an acquaintance of Van Gogh and owner of Café Le Tambourin. Vincent and his brother Theo used the café to hold an exhibition of Japanese prints from their own collection. The Japanese motif in the background may well be a reference to this.
