- Description
- Dit soort lampen werd waarschijnlijk gebruikt om de binnenzijde van het huis te verlichten. Het is gemaakt in de vorm van een mythisch waterwezen, makara. Er is geen deksel aanwezig, maar een soortgelijke lamp heeft een deksel in de vorm van een vrouwelijke figuur. De voorstelling verwijst naar het verhaal van Sri Tanjung. Zij wordt vermoord door haar geliefde en steekt de rivier naar de onderwereld over op de rug van een vis.
