Figurehead
Figurehead, an isolated find discovered by a fisherman off the south coast of the Isle of Man in the Irish Sea. The figurehead is made of teak and probably originates from a late 18th- or early 19th-century ship. The wood has been eaten away by shipworm.

- Boegbeeld, losse vondst opgevist door een visser in 1974 bij de Zuidkust van het eiland Man in de Ierse Zee. Gemaakt van teakhout en vermoedelijk afkomstig van een laat 18de of vroeg 19e-eeuws schip. Het hout is aangevreten door paalworm.
