- Drie bloeiende bomen met grillig kronkelende takken staan in een berm langs een verharde weg met op de achtergrond landbouwgrond. Een lantaarnpaal staat een beetje misplaatst tussen het bloeiend natuurschoon. Deze plek ligt aan het riviertje de Linge, die in het uiterste oosten van de Betuwe bij Doornenburg ontspringt. Deze rivier ontvangt het water van alle polders tussen de Rijn, de Lek, de Waal en van de Vijfherenlanden en mondt bij Gorinchem uit in de Merwede. Als de waterstand te hoog is wordt de waterafvoer geregeld door gemalen en als het water te laag is kan water worden ingelaten. Voor fietstochten zijn de oevers van dit riviertje een erg geliefde locatie.
