Tile featuring a jumping hare
A single lot of eighteen tiles of this type was found in a well at the back of the De Keyserinne house along the Warmoesstraat in the historic center of Amsterdam. The special pattern on the edge is reminiscent of the Moorish tradition of geometrical designs that were frequently used on early ornamental tiles.
