In early modern times, a great number of almanacs were published, small books containing a calendar and all sorts of information on markets, sailing timetables, moon phases, medical prescriptions, etc.
Less well-known was the publication of wall almanacs, loose-leaf pages that could be folded or used like our present-day calendars by attaching them to the wall. This wall almanac dating back to 1827 provides a lot of information in a small space about markets, the position of the stars, etc. The sheet was printed in Kampen by the company Valckenier.
