- Een tekening in potlood en pen van een non en een vrouw die naar een open barak vol mensen lopen. Onderaan de tekst: "Kerk in de keuken". In het boekje: "Nederlandse vrouwen in een Japans interneringskamp in beeld en woord" is de tekening afgedrukt. De tekst bij de tekening in het boekje luidt: "Onder leiding van Kloosterzusters en echtgenoten van dominees werd in de kampkeuken elken avond een kerkdienst gehouden. De Japanse kampcommandant had dit verboden. Wanneer zo'n dienst aan de gang was moesten er altijd enkele vrouwen op wacht staan en waarschuwen wanneer een Japanse soldaat in de buurt kwam. Soms was het mogelijk hardop te bidden en te zingen. Deze kerkgangen waren voor ons ontroerend mooi".
