Poster ‘Send Dutch goods using Dutch Railways’, 1939.

In the 1930s, Dutch Railways had to compete with the emerging road transport for the transport of goods. In a series of posters, including posters by famous poster designers such as Frans Mettes, Dutch Railways advertised their attributes as a goods carrier.
