Description
Deze tegels zijn afkomstig uit de Oude Kerk te Delft. Het decor is vergelijkbaar met de veelkleurige wandtegels die in de zestiende eeuw in Antwerpen werden beschilderd in de tinglazuur-techniek. De geometrische decors (kruisen en zeshoeken), ingevuld met palmetmotieven, zijn gebaseerd op Spaans-Moorse invloeden en op oudere vloeren waarin patronen met zeshoekige tegels werden gelegd.
