Stemmen (Voices). [third edition]. Amsterdam, P.N. van Kampen & Zoon, [August] 1917. IV, 112, (4) p, 16 x 21cm.
This book bears a dedication to Cornelis van Duyvenbode, but the script differs from Boutens’ handwriting. The number and autograph (in brownish ink) are certainly in his hand, but the ink of the words ‘for my friend C. van Duijvenbode’ are in a different hue and were probably written by Van Duyvenbode himself.
Rumor has it that ‘Brother Cor’ undertook to dedicate a number of rare items that he had taken charge of after Boutens’ death.
Number 1 of 6 numbered deluxe copies on white paper with a provisional brown percaline cover and a decoration drawn by hand in green, brown and black.
