Schaakboekje van Multatuli (Multatuli’s chess booklet). Manuscript, 1880
Multatuli was a fervent chess player, certainly towards the end of his life. The last thing he wrote down were words about a chess move. Most times, Multatuli played chess by correspondence, preferably with more than one opponent at the same time. This booklet contains a game of chess by correspondence.
